Altoism: Composition & Performance Workshops - An in-depth exploration and discussion of the music of jazz alto saxophone greats ranging from Benny Carter to Ornette Coleman.  Students will participate in the performance of a selection of original jazz pieces composed by Charlie (Bird) Parker, Cannonball Adderley, and Lee Konitz, and Art Pepper.
