I’m pleased to announce another performance video from Bjorkestra’s June 2026 concert at ShapeShifter Lab in Brooklyn is now live on YouTube.

This arrangement of “Army of Me” builds on the song’s dark, driving energy while opening it up for improvisation. Featuring Aubrey Johnson on electronically augmented vocals, the performance solos by Art Hirahara, Sean Nowell, and myself.  My alto saxophone solo explores spacious textures with delay and reverb before giving way to an energetic exchange with Sean Nowell on tenor saxophone and electronics.
