The Travis Sullivan Quartet performs an eclectic blend original jazz compositions, jazz standards, and pop music.  Sullivan leads this ensemble consisting of alto saxophone, piano, bass and drums that features some of the finest NYC jazz musicians on the scene today.  A performance by the Travis Sullivan Quartet takes listeners on a free-wheeling musical ride that explores improvisation with a wide array of musical influences including Wayne Shorter, Tears for Fears, Hermeto Pascoal, Brian Wilson, Keith Jarrett, Ornette Coleman, Bjork, and John Coltrane. Over the past 20 years Sullivan has released several albums with his quartet including As We Speak (2000), New Directions (Posi-tone, 2011), and most recently the EP Stimulus (2021).
