Beethoven’s Appassionata Sonata – I’m about a third of the way through the first movement of this piece. Pretty amazing stuff.
“Black Market” from the Weather Report album of the same name. I’m transcribing this and writing a big band arrangement of this. Gonna be cool.
“Darn That Dream” by Jimmy Van Heusen – learning this tune in a few keys.
Prelude and Fugue in F minor by J.S. Bach, from WTC 2 – I never think I can learn fugues on piano, but I managed to learn this one.
Also Bill Cunliffe has some nice jazz piano resources on his blog which has given me some good stuff to practice.
