Travis Sullivan (alto saxophone)  explores the music of some of the most influential alto saxophonists of the bebop era, including Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderly, Lee Konitz, and Jackie McLean.   In this entertaining and informative program, Travis illustrates how these masters' unique contributions shaped the face of modern jazz  by sharing interesting anecdotes, along with interpretations of songs such as Parker's "Confirmation," Adderly's "Work Song," Konitz's "Subconscious-Lee" and McLean's  "Dr. Jackle."
